The Bishop House is a small traditionally constructed oak framed house built for a private client in the grounds of a larger property. The house was constructed in 1999 on a limited budget of £120,000 with some elements of self build. It is intended to be a retirement home and special attention was paid to energy efficiency. It has an open plan living space with extensive glazing to create a light interior with takes full advantage of the views.
