LAMBRIDGE, BATH

At Lambridge a contemporary kitchen extension was added to a Grade II listed Georgian terraced house in Bath. HBA were appointed on the recommendation of Bath City Council after Listed Building Consent had been refused on a previous scheme, primarily due to the proposed loss of the existing dining room window. The fully glazed kitchen walls project forward from new stone piers to achieve the widest possible internal space. Part of the metal framed glazing system is load bearing to avoid the need for any additional internal structure.
