Rebecca Harrison BSc. B.Arch. AABC(RIBA)
Rebecca Harrison trained as an Architect at Bath University graduating in 1992 with two first class honours degrees. She spent time studying in Florence and was awarded the Society for the Protection of Ancient Building's Scholarship in 1993 which involved nine months of intensive conservation training on building sites around the United Kingdom .
She worked with Philip Hughes repairing listed medieval churches and vernacular buildings in Somerset before establishing Harrison Brookes Architects in 1999. Projects included the renovation of a water mill at Norton Sub Hamdon, repair of the collapsing medieval chancel roof at All Saints Church Langport and conservation works to Harold Peto's cloister building at Iford Manor.
Rebecca specializes in exceptional domestic architecture. Her practical skills gained from building boats and repairing and maintaining houses give her an inplicit understanding of the crutial finer details of a home. She draws on her experience of everyday family life to deliver functional living and working environments which perform over time.
