TONE MILL, WELLINGTON
Tone Mill is an extensive industrial site comprising approximately 25 buildings which until very recently produced fine woollen and worsted fabric. The site has been listed due to its significant industrial heritage particularly in respect of the machinery and infrastructure relating to the dying and fulling processes together with the equipment and machinery associated with three types of power generation; water, steam and electricity. HBA were appointed as part of a team working for Taunton Deane District Council to evaluate the importance of the buildings and prepare a conservation philosophy for the site in collaboration with Hannah Reynolds Regeneration Consultants.
